Last Friday, January 30th, at 7:30 p.m., Geashill Yoga held its final class in the Old School House in Geashill.

The stone building from the 1800s, featuring two classrooms and high ceilings, has served as a community space for many years. It was inviting, reliable, and a cherished part of the neighborhood.
Each Friday, we gathered for sessions: illuminated by candlelight and welcoming to beginners. We practiced vinyasa flows, pranayama, warrior poses, and planks—pure yoga without any frills.
Big thanks to the Old School House team, especially Clemens Van Ow, my main contact there, and Eddie Kelly, who always opened the door, turned on the heat, and locked up after. You made it effortless.
To the students who came week after week—Cait Dolan, Carol Betson, Caroline Cassidy, Catherine Phelan, Emily Deverell, Gráinne Lalor, Kate Lalor, Mary Guest, Michelle Trimble, Paul Trimble, and Roisin Conroy—thank you. Your presence was truly invaluable.

The class isn’t ending. It’s moving. As of February 1st, it continues at Castlebarna Wellness Centre in Daingean. Same teacher, same spirit, new home.
If you’ve been coming, come with us. If you haven’t, the door’s open.
Join George at 7:30 every Friday at Castlebarna Wellness Centre.
See you on the mat. 🧘♀️
